Limiting the Search

By clicking the ‘Limit Search’ button in the Search Parameters window, you can open the dialog that lets you narrow the search. It can also be opened using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + F4.

Date : Only report files that were modified between particular dates

Size : Limit the search to files of a certain size

Text : Only report files that contain a given text string

Version : Search the Version Resources of files for a text string

If you enable any of the search limits, you will see the change reported in the Search Parameters Window. For example, if you enable the date-restricted search, the word ‘Date’ will appear underneath the ‘Limit Search’ button.
